Pretty in Purple: Essence, Catrice, Bourjois & Estee Lauder

Pretty in Purple: Essence, Catrice, Bourjois & Estee Lauder

I am a big fan of purple, I don’t wear it often but every now and again it is fun and different and can completely change up your look. It really helps when you are using great products that make you look and feel fantastic. These products; Essence, Catrice, Bourjois and Estee Lauder, all do exactly that, making you feel like royalty! To find out what products I am talking about, scroll down and take a peak.

Like I have mentioned before, I am a huge Bourjois fan. Their foundations are amazing and leave your skin looking flawless every time. This foundation, in particular, is long lasting and gives you a lot more coverage than the cc cream but still has a very natural look. It also contains SPF10 and keeps your skin hydrated for up to 24 hours. It can be easily applied by both a beauty blender, brush or even your hands, obviously it is all about preference.

ESSENCE CONCEALER (Natural Beige #10)

Love this long-lasting concealer. I sometimes use it to highlight certain areas of my face as it is a lighter shade than my normal everyday cc cream. It has long-lasting coverage and is used to cover up shadows under the eyes as well as skin imperfections. It’s cream base leaves my skin looking younger and more radiant. It also blends really nicely with my foundation, leaving no blotches behind. My skin looks smooth, silky and flawless.

Estee Lauder

This Estee Lauder purple palette is fun, fresh and happening. The purple palette ranges from light, to medium, to dark which allows you to blend, mix and match and create your own unique tone. There is no need to reapply throughout the day as the colors seem to stay on for most of it. This is something that you definitely wont regret spending your money on.  Side note- excuse the look of the palette… I have had it forever and it certainly has seen better days!

Essence Mascara

This Essence “all eyes on me” mascara is great! It makes my lashes look long and lushes without getting clumpy. The only draw back being that it is not entirely waterproof. To be completely honest… I have worn it to a Barre class and came out looking like a complete mess (black lines all over my face… yes, I was “that” girl in the class!) I do like the product, however I would suggest using it as a normal mascara as you can’t rely on it being waterproof.

ESSENCE BLUSH (Peach Me Up #10)

Essence Blush

This blush is one of my favs! You can read more about it on my “Favorite 5 Minute Makeup Brands” post by clicking here. Just to reiterate, it goes on very smoothly and leaves an awesome matt finish. I use it for a very “natural finish” during the day as well as going out on the town in the evening. This is definitely worth trying!

CATRICE  LIPSTICK (Berry Bradshaw #340)

Catrice Lipstick

One of my favorite purple shades of all time! Yes, I said it, OF ALL TIME! It is amazing… I always get so many compliments when wearing this color and I feel so good in it. It goes on very easily, stays on all day/night and leaves my lips feeling super moist. If you haven’t tried any of the Catrice lipsticks then go and try them… you won’t regret it!
